The PictSweet Company Recalls 12 Ounce Steam’ables Baby Brussel Sprouts for Undeclared Milk & Soy Allergens

The Pictsweet Company has recalled 960 cases of Pictsweet Farms 12-ounce Steam’ables Baby Brussels Sprouts because they may contain undeclared milk & soy allergens. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk or soy may run the risk of serious allergic reaction if they consume this product.
The recall affects only Pictsweet Farms 12-ounce Baby Brussels Sprouts identified by UPC code 0 70560 97731 9 with production codes beginning with the following five digits: 1508K and a “BEST IF USED BY MAY 30, 2020.” A photo of the package is included with this release. The following information is printed on the back panel of each package (bag) as shown below.
No other Pictsweet Farms products are impacted by this recall.
The states in which the product were distributed are as follows: Alabama, California, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, & Wisconsin.
The company initiated this recall after it was discovered that butter sauce containing milk & soy allergens were included in packaging that did not reveal the presence of milk or soy allergens.
No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to date.

AZ Firm Issues Voluntary Product Recall Due to Undeclared Peanuts in Superfood Salad

Papa John’s Salads and Produce of Tolleson, AZ is voluntarily recalling 148 units of the Superfood Salads due to misbranding & undeclared peanuts.  The product contains peanuts which are not declared on the product label as packages of peanuts were mistakenly included in the kits instead of cashews.
People who have sensitivity or allergies to peanuts may be at risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. To this date, there have been no reported adverse reactions to this product.
The product subject to the recall was distributed to stores in AZ, CA, CO, MT, NM, NV, UT, & WY from July 9, 2018 – July 10, 2018, listed in the table below. 
The affected product was sold from the Deli Service Case from July 9, 2018 – July 11, 2018, with a Consumer UPC of 2541465#### or 2070780#### in which the last 4 digits (####) were the price of the product.

LL’S Magnetic Clay Inc. Expands Allergy Alert On Undeclared Allergens In Prescript-Assist Dietary Supplement To All Lots

LL’s Magnetic Clay, Inc. of Austin, Texas is recalling all lots of Prescript-Assist (still within expiration date), a dietary supplement it marketed until late 2017, because of its potential to contain undeclared allergens, including almonds, crustaceans, milk, casein, eggs, and peanuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to these specific types of allergens run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
Prescript-Assist dietary supplement was distributed nationwide, including through online sales on the LL’s Magnetic Clay website and brick & mortar retailers. The Prescript-Assist product is available through distributors other than LL’s Magnetic Clay that purchased the product from the same source.
All lots sold between 1/29/2015 – 12/31/2017 are potentially impacted. The white bottles contain capsules in quantities of either 60 or 90 capsules per bottle. A representative label is included below.
No illnesses regarding these products have been reported to date.
The recall was initiated after potential cGMP failures in the supply chain were identified by LL’s Magnetic Clay.

May Flower International Inc. of 5672 49th Place, Maspeth, NY, is recalling its 4.4 ounce packages of “3+2 Soda Crackers” because they may contain undeclared milk allergens. Consumers who are allergic to milk allergens may run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product.
The recalled “3+2 Soda Crackers” were distributed nationwide in retail stores. The product comes in a 4.4 oz, yellow plastic package & is un-coded.
No illnesses or allergic reactions involving this product have been reported to date.
The recall was initiated after routine sampling by New York State Dept. of Agriculture & Markets Food Inspectors and subsequent analysis by Food Laboratory personnel revealed the presence of undeclared milk allergens in the 4.4 oz packages of “3+2 Soda Crackers” which did not declare a milk ingredient on the label.

Allergy Alert Issued in Midwest Whole Foods Market Stores for Undeclared Soy in Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Whole Foods Market is voluntarily recalling Whole Foods Market brand oatmeal raisin cookies from stores in eight states because the products contained soy flour that was not listed on the product label. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
All affected cookies have been removed from store shelves. The affected cookies were sold in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska & Wisconsin. The cookies were packaged in an 18-count plastic container with a PLU beginning with 23209. The products have sell by dates from June 4 through July 8, 2018. The problem was discovered when discovered when the supplier notified the company of an unannounced ingredient change. No illnesses have been reported to date.
Customers who purchased these products at Whole Foods Market can bring a valid receipt into stores for a full refund. The recall was initiated after learning from a retail customer that a limited number of bottles were mislabeled. The product contains milk and egg, known allergens not declared on the bottle. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk or egg may run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. If you are not allergic to milk or egg, this product is safe to eat. No illnesses have been reported to date. The Food & Drug Administration has been made aware of this recall.
